The Yorkshire Yellow Book 2019

Devolution within England has hovered on the political agenda for decades but has attracted precious little public attention. This volume of essays, which follows two volumes of Essays on a Liberal future for Leeds, aims to fill this gap.

The twenty essays are an attempt to bring together a broad swathe of writers on a wide range of Yorkshire topics in the hope of catalysing public involvement in arguing and campaigning for devolution to our county. All the writers have an affinity with their subjects, coupled with a level of experience. Not all of them are card-carrying Liberal Democrat members but all are sympathetic to applying liberal values to devolution and to the promotion of a politically and economically powerful Yorkshire.
